UN x Talenthouse
In April 2020, Curious PR publicised the global initiative to combat coronavirus using the power of creators around the world: the United Nations Global Creative Call Out resulted in 17,000 submissions of creative work from people in 143 states – work such as graphic design, illustrations, music and video content. Each UN-approved submission is hosted on www.unitednations.talenthouse.com – and covers one of six WHO messages e.g. social distancing, kindness contagion.
We secured coverage on BBC World News (TV), The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Grazia Middle East, CAMPAIGN Magazine, Little Black Book Online and Creative Review. One submission that received a stunning response which went viral included the a video celebrating immigrant NHS workers’ contribution to the crisis, which, at the time of writing, has had 8 million views. The campaign received a commendation in The Drum New Years Honours in early 2021.
